Valley Academy is one of Arizona’s most
academically successful and financially stable
charter schools.

Who We Are

Valley Academy is one of the first charter schools
established in Arizona. Since 1995,  Valley
Academy has offered a back-to-basics, traditional
education for students in grades K-8. It is a public charter school, and therefore no tuition is charged.

Valley Academy is a school created by parents and teachers. Our school respects the role of parents and values their participation. One of the cornerstones of Valley Academy is strong parental involvement and parental input in academic areas. Parents and faculty work together to create the caring, supportive environment in which students learn.

Students at Valley Academy are held to a high standard of behavior. School uniforms help unite the student body. Through a continual emphasis on academic achievement, students earn self-esteem through genuine, individual achievement.

We are proud to be the first school in the Reid Traditional Schools family.  Our sister school, Painted Rock Academy (www.PaintedRockAcademy.com), opened in August 2012.
