Support Our School

Thank you for your interest in our school.

There are a variety of ways to lend support to Valley Academy. The school
is a 501(c)3 organization and can provide tax receipts for all donations.
Our staff and students appreciate the generosity of our community.

Your Arizona Tax Credit donation supports extracurricular activities.

Arizona taxpayers can donate to public schools and receive a state tax credit equal to the amount contributed.
Married taxpayers filing jointly are eligible for up to $400 in tax credits. Single and head-of-household taxpayers are eligible for up to $200.

Taxpayers are not required to have children enrolled in the school in order to receive these credits. Our school uses these funds for extracurriculuar activities, as required by law. You may specify which program you would like your contribution to support.  We especially appreciate those who choose “Areas of Greatest Needs,” which allows the school to fund any extracurriculuar program in need of support.

You may use the form below to make an online Tax Credit donation to Valley Academy.

Please note: this form is for donation payments only. Parents who have previously paid for extracurricular programs and wish to receive a tax credit receipt should follow the procedure outlined by the Program Director or contact the school office.

You may also send a tax credit donation directly to the school office using the form provided in this Tax Credit brochure.

Tax credit payments received before midnight of December 31st will be credited to that tax year. Tax credit receipts will be issued early in February.

For more information about the Arizona Tax Credit, contact the school office or your tax preparer.

Donors and volunteers make a difference.

We appreciate all that our donors and volunteers do. In just the last year, your efforts resulted in the purchase of ten document projection cameras for use in classrooms, an impressive trophy case in the main building’s front entry, and numerous classroom supplies.  Thank you!

Charter schools are funded less per student.

A recent study conducted by the Arizona Department of Education determined that charter schools serving K-8 students are funded at a significantly lower level per student than district schools.   This makes your contribution even more important and appreciated.
